Jason Steffan

Specializing in split-level photography in difficult and challenging locations, Jason is currently based out of Munich, Germany. Whether it be a lake in the Swiss, Bavarian or Austrian Alps, each shoot he engages in is somewhat of an expedition that requires extensive planning and organization which results in these stunning images.

He grew up watching the undersea adventures of Jacques Cousteau with the Calypso ship, researching the beauty beneath the ocean’s surface. Growing up in Southern California and Hawaii, he developed a strong bond with the ocean from a young age. This eventually developed into all forms of water, whether it be a swimming pool or high altitude glacier lakes.

He is fascinated with the beauty underneath the waters surface, an environment most people never get to see. He strives to shed some light on this stunning and mysterious world.
